GMP offers handlines for use in outside plant splicing operations. These are made from manila rope (rope is manufactured to Federal Specification TR-605).

Available in a length of 100 ft. (30m), this handline is used to raise service drop wires to pole-mounted aerial distribution cable plant.

  • The 3/8 in. (10mm) Utility Handlines are provided with a crown splice on one end (no hardware) and a 6 in. (152mm) eye splice on the other end. Also both ends are served with approximately 1/2 in. (13mm) of waxed linen cord.
