Used to calculate the "break" or deflection angle in utility pole lines

• The stainless steel shaft screws into the angle pole and the sighting arm is set to 0 degrees on the protractor.
• A sight is taken on a pole in one tangent then the sighting arm is rotated and a sight is tanken on the ole in the second tangent.
• The deflection angle is then read on the protactor to the nears degree.
